Welcome to domshot. These Terms of Service govern your use of our screenshot API service. By accessing or using domshot, you agree to be bound by these terms.
By creating an account, accessing our API, or using our service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our service.
These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and domshot. If you are using our service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these terms.

To use our service, you must create an account and provide accurate, complete, and current information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
We offer authentication through third-party OAuth providers (Google and GitHub). By using these services, you agree to their respective terms of service and privacy policies.
API keys are issued to your account and must be kept secure. You may not share your API keys with others. If your API keys are compromised, you must revoke them immediately through your dashboard. You are responsible for all usage of your API keys.
DomShot offers various subscription plans with different features and usage limits. Pricing is displayed on our website and may be changed at any time with 30 days notice to existing subscribers.
You may choose monthly or yearly billing. Yearly plans receive a discount equivalent to 2 months free. Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless you cancel before the renewal date.
Payment processing is handled by Polar. By subscribing to our service, you agree to Polar's terms of service. We do not store your complete payment information on our servers.
Fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in our refund policy. You may cancel your subscription at any time, and you will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
Each plan has specific rate limits defined as requests per minute and total screenshots per billing period. Exceeding these limits may result in reduced service or additional charges.
Screenshot credits do not roll over to the next billing period. Unused credits expire at the end of each billing cycle.
While we do not impose strict data transfer limits, we expect reasonable use consistent with a screenshot API. Excessive bandwidth usage or abuse of caching may be limited to protect service quality for all users.

The service, including all software, code, designs, trademarks, and content, is owned by DomShot and protected by intellectual property laws. You do not acquire any ownership rights in the service except as expressly granted in these terms.
Subject to your compliance with these terms, you own the screenshots generated through your API requests. You are responsible for ensuring your use of screenshots complies with applicable laws and the rights of website owners.
Screenshots may contain content from third-party websites. You are responsible for obtaining necessary permissions from website owners before using screenshots for commercial or public purposes.
Your use of our service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using domshot, you consent to our data practices as described in our Privacy Policy.
We strive to maintain high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, or due to technical issues beyond our control.
Support availability varies by plan. While we aim to respond to all inquiries, response times are not guaranteed and depend on plan tier and inquiry volume.
We may offer beta or experimental features. These features are provided as-is and may be changed or discontinued without notice.

You may terminate your account at any time by cancelling your subscription or deleting your account through your dashboard or by contacting us.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you violate these terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or abuse the service. We will provide notice of termination unless immediate action is required to protect our service or users.
Upon termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. We will delete your account data within 30 days, except as required by law or for legitimate business purposes. You remain responsible for all charges incurred before termination.
These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which DomShot is established. Any legal action must be brought in the courts of that jurisdiction.
Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive your right to a trial by jury or to participate in class action lawsuits.
